In 1971, Kirk Forsythe worked for Valley National Bank. They wanted to transfer him out of town. He did not want to relocate his young family and decided that he would try and find some other line of work. Kirk’s father-in-law was retired from the Post Office and was working for the dealer who sold Otis Golf Cars. Kirk decided that the golf car business looked promising.
On April 1, 1971, Kirk opened his doors selling Flagmaster Golf Cars. You probably never heard of them and Kirk Didn’t sell too many. With perseverance and luck, Kirk eventually sold Otis, Club Car, Western and a couple other lines that only the most knowledgeable golf car guys would remember.
In 1978, Kirk was very fortunate to be the second company to be awarded a Yamaha Golf Car franchise. And he never looked back. Kirk retired in 2000, and handed the family business over to Rob and Jon, the second generation Forsythes. However, you will often see him walking around to make sure that every customer is treated honestly, fairly and with respect. The third generation is currently training and waiting to take over the reigns sometime around 2025.
Yamaha builds the world’s finest golf car and neighborhood vehicles. We employ our community’s finest sales people and mechanics, who often live in the same neighborhood you do. This is a reassurance that only the highest morals and ethics are followed in representing you, our custom.
No two situations are alike when it comes to odor control. Your needs are not going to be the same as those of someone in another community halfway across the country. We work with you to fully assess your situation and design the most effective solution possible within your specific parameters.
As a leading expert in odor control solutions, EcoVerde designs, manufactures and distributes solutions ranging from bioscrubbers (our preferred green method) to carbon adsorbers and compact odor control systems. Having all of these options means we can offer solutions that effectively address the needs of industrial, municipal and mass transit applications.
In our ongoing quest to provide the most advanced green technology in our industry, we’ve developed the next-generation series of bioscrubbers that treat hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other odors more efficiently and economically than any other option available.
Our next-generation EG-series of bioscrubbers/biotrickling Filters have demonstrated better removal rates, at higher loading rates, than has been previously documented. They are the most economical to operate, with synthetic media that creates the lowest pressure drop and are warrantied for 15 years without cleaning or replacing. Because our EG bioscrubbers are a totally biological treatment for odor control, they use NO chemicals—and they require very little maintenance.
Clients have come to expect highly reliable performance from our bioscrubber/biotrickling filters systems. We attribute that dependable performance to our bioscrubbers’ innovative design and media that lowers pressure drop, distribute airflow evenly and reduce electrical consumption.
Evergreen Turf was established in April of 1999 by Jeff Nettleton and Jimmy Fox as a small, friendly, locally owned and operated Arizona sod farm. The idea back then was to provide Arizona homeowners and landscape contractors with an elite, golf-quality product. Since then, Evergreen Turf has become the major sod provider not just for homeowners, and landscapers, but for Arizona’s demanding golf courses and sports facilities. With more new golf courses and renovation projects than we can count, and thousands of commercial parks and home lawns installed, Evergreen Turf has become the major, locally-owned sod farm in Arizona. How did such a young company rise so quickly gain the confidence of an entire industry? The answer lies in Evergreen’s extraordinary people and an overriding commitment to our customers. Nowhere can our neighbors in Arizona get better information on sod and turfgrass from friendlier, more knowledgeable people. We invite you to browse our website for the answers to your sod questions or to call if you don’t find what you are looking for. Better yet, stop by and see us at our convenient Chandler location.

To understand who Horizon is today, it’s important to start with the history of two different companies that would later merge to become Horizon Distributors, Inc.
In the early 1960s, the Hayes family founded Automatic Rain, an irrigation distributor based in Menlo Park, California. The Hayes family operated Automatic Rain for 38 years, constantly opening new stores while leading the Northern California markets with full-service locations, offering irrigation, lighting and landscape products.
In the mid 1970s, while working in the irrigation industry, David Lange founded Mesa Sprinkler, a wholesale irrigation supply company. In 1997, after 20 successful years of running Mesa Sprinkler, David Lange purchased Horizon Turf, which specialized in the sale and service of turf maintenance products and power equipment. This union of both turf equipment and irrigation under one roof was an innovation to the industry.
In January 1999, Automatic Rain and Horizon Turf merged under the name Horizon Distributors, Inc.. Horizon immediately flourished and now is one of the largest distributors of irrigation, equipment, outdoor living and landscape products in the United States.
In October of 2005, Horizon was acquired and became part of the Pool Corporation family of companies. Poolcorp is the largest distributor of swimming pool supplies and related products, with over 280 global sales centers, distributing more than 100,000 national brand and private label products to over 70,000 wholesale customers.
Now with more than 60 locations in 11 states, Horizon Distributors Inc. has built upon it’s history and established itself as a leader within the Green Industry, prepared and ready to help customers become more profitable and successful.
Huma Gro Turf is a line of products developed and manufactured by Bio Huma Netics, Inc. of Gilbert, Arizona. Bio Huma Netics started developing high efficiency liquid soil health and plant nutrition products in 1973. The Micro Carbon Technology® (MCT) that we use as the base of all our ingredients is proven to be many times more efficient than conventional fertilizers; several times more efficient than granular fertilizers and a few times more efficient than the highest quality chelates. The extremely small molecule size in our MCT makes the difference.
Bio Huma Netics, Inc. was founded in 1973 by scientists Dr. Jordan Smith and Mr. Don Organ when they made the first agricultural application of a unique humate material from a mine in the Northwestern United States. This material, rich in organic acids, and minerals laid down over time in fresh water, when applied to farm soils improved soil conditions, increased the mineral content of plants and accelerated nutrient uptake.
By 1981, Dr. Smith and Mr. Organ had developed the proprietary technology to extract organic acids, soluble minerals and other beneficial organic components from this unique material. This extract contains Bio Huma Netics’ Micro Carbon Technology® and is the foundation ingredient used in all HUMA GRO®, HUMA GRO® TURF, and Probiotic Solution® products. Micro Carbon Technology® is combined with other beneficial components to create over 70 products the company produces to improve soils, improve plant nutrition, and water treatment. The company has expanded under a manufacturing focus. Bio Huma Netics, Inc. today is an exciting dynamic growing company.

R&R Products, Inc., is the leading manufacturer of replacement parts for the commercial golf and turf industry. With over 275 employees, we are a family owned and operated corporation. Thomas Rogers, President & CEO; Don Rogers, Vice President & COO; Carol Hudson, Vice President of Sales; and Brian Larson, Vice President & CFO.
Our company was founded by Roy H. Rogers in 1971 and he remained President unitl he passed away in August of 2003. Roy was extremely proud of R&R as he worked with all three of his children Carol, Tom and Don and his grandson Brian. He enjoyed every day with the close family business which has become the world’s leading manufacturer of golf and turf replacement parts.
Roy Rogers was formerly President and founder of Rogers Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of patented turf sweepers and aerators. Rogers Manufacturing was sold to Jacobsen Manufacturing Company, a larger commercial mower manufacturer, in 1968. Roy Rogers retired until 1971 when he decided there was a great need for a quality replacement parts manufacturer in the commercial turf industry. Up to this time, there had been several replacement parts companies in this industry that had lacked the control of manufacturing processes necessary to produce a quality product, and therefore, they were not well accepted in the turf industry. Roy Rogers felt that in order to compete with the large original equipment manufacturers he would have to have complete control of all facets of the manufacturing processes, especially heat treating. Therefore, he built a factory and purchased equipment capable of manufacturing the best replacement parts available.
The control we have over our line of replacement parts is unequalled in our industry, as we have our own computerized numeric controlled lathes and mills for precision machining, punch presses, state-of-the-art laser cutting center as well as five heat treating systems for complete control of the temper on all of our blades. In all, our modern manufacturing and automated warehousing facilities encompass over 300,000 square feet.
Our line of replacement parts, golf course accessories, irrigation, safety and tools has grown from less than a hundred in 1971 to over a thousand in 1985 to over 18,000 parts today. We have become the leader in our industry in replacement parts and are committed to continue to grow and offer an ever expanding line of replacement parts and accessories.
Our sales philosophy has always been to offer a top quality product at an attractive price and have the item in stock at all times for immediate delivery. R&R Products offers the best warranty in the business, “All R&R Reels, Bedknives and Tines are guaranteed against defects for the life of the product” and R&R ships 98% of all orders the same day the order is received.

It is the organic soil binder used on more natural pathways and driveways worldwide than any other product. New trends in sustainability make Stabilizer more relevant now than ever.
