J. Davis Marking, LLC was founded in 1989 by Jan Davis. She had the idea of engraving yardage numbers on the top of irrigation head caps to provide the distance information for golfers to help speed up play. She wanted golf courses to have PERMANENT yardage marking instead of the temporary tags that got mowed off or broken off. Her idea took off and she invested in molds for all Toro and Rain Bird Irrigation caps.
In 2000, her son Michael and his wife Anne joined her in the business. We now supply permanent yardage marking to golf courses in over 40 countries. We also added Hunter Irrigation caps and we furnish driving range markers and fairway markers in addition to irrigation head marking.
In 2014, Alan & Alicia Pitcher took over the day-to-day operations and are located in Kansas. Mike and Anne are still involved with the business but are acting in promotional and advisory roles. We pride ourselves on second-to-none customer service and the finest products in the industry. Give us a call or email us today. We look forward to serving you.
