Buffalo Turbine was established in 1945 under the name Buffalo Agricultural Supply in Gowanda, NY, located about 25 miles south of the City of Buffalo. Buffalo Agricultural Supply manufactured a complete line of Sprayer \/ Dusters for the agricultural and vector abatement industries, all being centered on the turbine style fan design. Over the next 4 decades Buffalo Agricultural Supply sold thousands of units across the world as the overall effectiveness and results were unprecedented in those industries.<\/p>\n
In the mid 80\u2019s the company changed hands and with new ownership and a pure appreciation for the product, the focus became growth. Many changes came over the next 10 years but the turbine assembly remained the same as it has since 1945. In 1996 the focus and direction of the company, now under the name Buffalo Turbine, shifted into the golf and turf markets and the product focus became a revolutionary tow-behind debris blower.<\/p>\n
The Original KB model took the golf industry by storm. Not only was the new technology an attention-getter but the amount of time and labor savings generated with the new design was substantial. Buffalo Turbine generates air up to 3x\u2019s more efficiently than a traditional \u201cpaddle-wheel\u201d style blower which meant that the Buffalo Turbine was able to complete larger tasks in a fraction of the time. Within a couple of years the Buffalo Turbine Debris Blowers became the \u201cstaple\u201d in the golf and turf markets.<\/p>\n
Since 1996 Buffalo Turbine has continued to improve on the original design while adding a full line of new products tailored to the various markets of debris management. Today the debris blowers can been found at racetracks, airports, poultry farms, golf courses, parks, dragstrips, road construction sites, fire line maintenance facilities, solar farms, military bases and anywhere else that debris becomes an issue.<\/p>\n
In 2008, Buffalo Turbine launched the Monsoon Dust \/ Odor control product line. The Monsoon is a cost-effective, self-contained dust control system that is a fraction of the cost of other products in the industry. The Monsoon is quickly becoming the industry standard in self-contained suppression systems.<\/p>\n
