Golf course in Easton, Connecticut
The Connecticut Golf Club was designed to create ideal playing conditions for members who are interested in playing golf. It is a special place, embodying the ideals and traditions of the founder A. Wien. Created in 1966 by Mr. Wien and course architect, Geoffrey Cornish, the Club's mission is to provide a golf retreat in the middle of a stunning New England landscape, far removed from the busyness of daily life.
One of the great assets of the club is its greens. With a wide variety of contours, sizes, shapes and multiple elevatona, the green at The Connecticut Golf Club give the golfer a variety of different angles when putting.
The terrain in southwestern Connected provided Geoffrey Cornish with the opportunity to design a course nestled away in the mids of a rugged, and undeveloped, New England landscape. The par fives, for example, require players to navigate around doglegs, elevation changes, and water hazards. Four great par threes, all include elevated tees and carries over water.
All players must be attired in acceptable golf clothing. Collared shirts are required and must be tucked in. Mock collars are acceptable. Bermuda shorts are permitted. Shorts of tennis short length and blue jeans are not permitted. When seated in the dining room, bar or on the patio, hats/caps must be removed.
