The Hermitage Golf Course features two golf courses: the President’s reserve was designed by architect Dennis Griffiths and it trails through 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands and along the banks of the Cumberland River.
It plays up to 7200 yards and it can offer any golfer as much a challenge as one might desire, yet be a pleasurable golfing experience for even the occasional golfer. The President’s reserve has been recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the “Top 10 in Tennessee”.
The General’s Retreat was built back in 1986 with architect Gary Roger Baird and ti hosted the LPGA Sara Lee Classic from 1988 to 1999. It was voted the “Best Golf Course in Nashville”. The General’s Retreat is a “Must Play” when visiting the Nashville, Tennessee area.
With the beautiful setting along the Cumberland River and a variety of tee placements, golfers of all capabilities will thoroughly enjoy the golf, scenery and hospitality offered at the Hermitage Golf Course.
